Estonia: Eesti Laul 2021 Entries Released

Estonian broadcaster ERR have now revealed the 24 entries competing in the upcoming edition of Eesti Laul. The semi-finals will take place on February 18th and 20th, while the final will take place on March 6th. All three shows will take place in the capital Tallinn.

A total of 156 songs were submitted to the broadcaster, with 63 songs in Estonian language. From the 93 non-Estonian entries, majority were in English however there were some lyrics in Russian, Spanish and French.

A number of returning artists are featured in the list, including former Eurovision participants Ivo Linna (1996), Koit Toome (1998, 2017), Tanja (2014) and Jüri Pootsmann (2016). Uku Suviste also returns after being selected to represent Estonia in 2020, however the contest was ultimately cancelled. He will have to win the competition again in order to represent Estonia at Eurovision in 2021.
